After being a finalist in the Innovation award at In-cosmetics Global 2020, JADE ALGA won the bronze award (3rd place) in the “Environmental category”of 2021 CITE Japan Convention. JADE ALGA is derived from Ulva lactuca: a food seaweed that grows in Brittany. Because of water richness in nutrients, ulva can grow out of control. The decomposition of drift ulva along the seashore may result in environmental problems.
